Demos

As part of the project, Birmingham City University created a set of proof-of-concept technical demonstrators to explore context-aware mobile information delivery.

• Demo 1: an exploration of the use of QR codes in a treasure hunt around Digbeth.

• Demo 3: gathering customer information via a mobile page pushed from a sales point using Bluetooth.

• Demo 6: exploring GPS trails around the centre of Birmingham.

• Demo 7: an application to gather user feedback about a specific location and present it back to them in a variety of ways.
  This application is being deployed as the Flatpack Festival Noticeboard at 7inch Cinema's Flatpack extravaganza, allowing festival participants to post their thoughts and photos to an animated projection.

• Demo 8: Co-loco - a geo-socialising application enabling users to explore points of interest and find other users in their immediate vicinity.
